In a bold demonstration of unity and purpose, AKBE, in collaboration with the Kenya Association of Hotel Keepers and Caterers (KAHC), proudly led a delegation of 10 Kenyan MICE partners to the IMEX Frankfurt 2025 show — one of the world’s most prestigious business events platforms. Showcasing under the Kenya Pavilion, Team Kenya impressed global buyers and stakeholders with its rich diversity, hospitality excellence, and readiness to host world-class events. Our participating partners — including Waridi Events, Pneuma Audio Visual, Zuri Events, Sawela Lodges Naivasha, Radisson Blu Upper Hill, Accor Nairobi, Safari Park Hotel, The Tamarind Tree, Trademark/Tribe Hotels, MAANZONI 680 HOTEL, and Eka Hotel — seized invaluable opportunities for business prospecting, learning, and global networking. The experience was a clear eye-opener on the power of international trade shows to drive business growth and visibility for Kenya’s MICE ecosystem.
Encouraged by the overwhelming success and insights gained at IMEX, AKBE is firmly committed to championing more strategic participation in global MICE trade fairs. These platforms not only position Kenya as a leading African MICE destination but also equip our members with real opportunities to forge partnerships, attract conferences, and stay informed on global trends.
